The fragrance in the air was more soothing, comforting and energizing. The beaming faces of everyone present under balmy sun, be it teacher or student, had one thing in common i.e. being Proud Indian. The feeling of patriotism and pride of being an Indian was evident from everyone’s face, expressions and actions. The Head of the School, Mr. Sebastian Joseph, hoisted the National Flag. It seemed as a festive time in every corner of the school. The teachers and students alike made the environment highly energetic and patriotic with speeches, dance performances and songs. Inter-House patriotic song competition was held where it became difficult for the judges to decide about the best one. However, Darwin House bagged the first position.
In the end, everyone took an oath to contribute his/her bit for the welfare and development of the nation.
