In a remarkable display of enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental consciousness, the students of grade-III at SRCS came together to celebrate a special assembly themed 'Green Warriors' on 26th August. 2023. The event, showcased an inspiring blend of speech, song, and dance, all aimed at raising awareness about the significance of environmental conservation and the role of young minds as stewards of our planet.
The assembly kicked off with a thought-provoking speech by Yagnesh who eloquently highlighted the pressing issues our planet face due to pollution, deforestation, and climate change. The young orator stressed the importance of adopting sustainable practices and the responsibility that each student bears as a 'Green Warrior' in safeguarding the Earth for future generations.
Following the impactful speech, the stage came alive with a mesmerizing song performance by the class choir. The song's lyrics ‘Tik Tik Tik Tik Tik Tik - Kasam Yeh Khain - Plastic Bach na Pai’ echoed the message of unity and determination in eradicating plastic and preserving nature. The melodious voices of the students resonated throughout the auditorium, leaving the audience captivated and motivated to make a positive impact.
The grand finale of the assembly was a vibrant dance performance choreographed to reflect the beauty of nature and the need to protect it. The students' graceful movements and synchronized routines conveyed the message of embracing eco-friendly habits and advocating for a cleaner, greener planet.
The event concluded with the Principal addressing and applauding the students, teachers and parents, for their efforts in bringing such an important message to life. Ms. Sunita Singh, the Dean congratulated the SRCS Team of Ms. Aparna, Ms Aradhana, Ms Vasundhara, the Music Teachers Mr. Amit, Mr. Krishna, Mr. Neeraj (Dance Teacher), Ms. Sanju, the Art and Craft teacher and the entire team of Admin emphasising the power of collective action and urged the students to continue their eco-conscious endeavours beyond the assembly.
The 'Green Warriors' assembly at SRCS truly demonstrated the potential of young minds to drive positive change.
