A three day workshop of Model United Nations (MUN) was organised by SRCS at its Senior Wing Campus from 16/01/18-18/01/18. For this workshop, Mr. Nabeel Faruqui, from Mumbai, was invited as the resource person and MUN trainer. MUN is an educational simulation of the United Nations in which students learn about the functioning of the UN, diplomacy and international relations. It involves and teaches researching, debating, public speaking, writing skills, critical thinking, besides team work and leadership abilities.
The MUN work shop was a memorable experience for all the participants as it helped them to understand the working of the United Nation. It also provided an insight of International Relations and the roles various countries play in the development of international affairs.During this workshop they have come across many activities which not only infused confidence in them but also recharged them.
The work-shop got concluded with lots of learning experiences. Students were awarded with certificates by the resource person.
