Role of a teacher

“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the

imagination and instill a love of learning” .

I strongly believe that teaching is not just about

completing the curriculum, but about
understanding the psychology of students and

then making them understand the subject, its

need and its implementation in day-to-day life.

Patience is one of those elements which a

teacher must have. Since, every student is
different and therefore can require different

amount of time to learn or understand a single

concept. It’s the job of the teacher to be patient

while explaining the same thing over and over
again and trusting the students even when they

don’t trust themselves. I sometimes feel

devastated when I see students losing faith in

their teachers. For a successful student-teacher
relationship, it is necessary for both student and

teacher to have faith in each other as it eases

the learning process.
