Teachers’ Day Celebration at SRCS

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great philosopher, scholar, and statesman, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, SRCS celebrated Teachers’ Day 2026 with immense warmth, reverence, and vibrant student-led festivities.

The event was seamlessly anchored by student hosts Avika Tiwari and Atharva Shivhare.

The celebration began with a gracious welcome address by the School Head Girl, Dhiti Rai, who expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the student fraternity for the untiring dedication of the faculty.

In keeping with Indian traditions, the auspicious lamp lighting was led by the Principal, Ms. Sunita Singh Chouhan, alongside senior educators.

A commemorative speech by Trish Shrivastava highlighted the enduring relevance of Dr. Radhakrishnan’s educational philosophy and his visionary ideals.

The cultural segment witnessed energetic dance presentations by senior students of Classes IX through XII.

Addressing the assembly, Principal Ms. Sunita Singh Chouhan showered her blessings upon the students for curating such a thoughtful event and reminded the faculty of their sacred role in nation-building through compassionate, value-based education.

The second half of the celebration transitioned into lively recreation. The faculty enthusiastically participated in specially organized sporting games, including an engaging push-up competition for the male staff and a spirited musical chair contest for the female teachers.

The Principal presented written greetings to all staff members as a token of appreciation which was followed by a memorable cake-cutting ceremony. Teachers rendered melodious medley of retro songs. The energy reached a whole new level as our faculty took the stage with electrifying group dance performances!

The festive day drew to a delightful close with a fellowship lunch hosted for the entire staff.
